  • Overview

    The Special Services Manager is responsible for selling and managing small projects, clients, facilities, and manpower as required.  They will be collaborating with the other managers to schedule and dispatch as backlog dictates.  Finical reporting to Division Manager is required on a monthly basis.  Annual sales of $2 million with department margins reached.



    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Identify project bid opportunities via research, internal leads and networking.
    • Attend job walks, site visits as needed.
    • Prepare proposals and follow up to win the projects.
    • Assist with scheduling of manpower and forecasting additional resources as needed.
    • Oversee service personnel both in the field and office.
    • Complete project turnovers with technicians to ensure scope and deliverables are clear.
    • Track changes to projects and communicate cost impacts to the client.


    Qualifications include but are not limited to:

    • Good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong internal and external customer orientation.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks.
    • Computer skills (Accubid, Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel).
    • Research new market sectors or facilities to expand customer base.
    • Follow up with current clients to ensure that there project/facilities needs are being met.
    • Basic knowledge of electrical installation means and methods.
